How it works
A hearing test is a comprehensive assessment that measures how well you hear different sounds and speech at various levels. Using advanced diagnostic equipment, we carefully evaluate your hearing ability and identify any changes or areas of difficulty. The results allow us to provide clear guidance and tailored recommendations based on your individual needs.
Assessment - Your audiologist will take time to understand your hearing concerns, symptoms, lifestyle needs, and relevant medical history to ensure the test is tailored to you.
Preparation - You will be given clear instructions about the test, and comfortable headphones will be fitted to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Procedure - During the hearing test, you will listen to a series of tones played at different pitches and volumes, simply responding each time you hear a sound.
Results and advice - Once your test is complete, your hearing levels will be fully explained, and if needed, you will receive professional advice and personalised recommendations for the next steps.
